Scott started his railroad career as a locomotive fireman on The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company. He worked as a locomotive fireman, switchman and engineer on the BNSF Railway Company for over 35 years and held various union officer positions during that time. As a Field Representative, he spends his time helping fellow union members to educate themselves with the facts about FELA and what to do when injured on duty.

Scott proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Era and did a tour in Southeast Asia. He likes traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
