John Rossi and James R. (Jim) Morrisard started our firm in 1967, after graduating from law school together. John's dad was a locomotive engineer for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railway Company, so when John began representing railroaders under the Federal Employers' Liability Act, it was a perfect match.

John started successfully trying cases immediately.

Jim Cox joined John and Jim in 1973.

Our success led to designations as legal counsel for the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes, now Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes (Teamsters), Brotherhood of Railroad Signalman, Transportation Communications Union, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, National Conference of Fireman and Oilers (SEIU), American Train Dispatchers and Sheet Metal Workers International Association.

In 1979, David Kiker joined our firm, bringing with him his UTU designation. When David retired in 2003 after a long and successful career, the UTU graciously acknowledged John Rossi's years of service to the railroad community by designating him as legal counsel.

Doug Rossi joined our firm as a law student in 1991, and became a member of the Bar in 1992. He has been instrumental in preparing and trying cases with John Rossi and Jim Cox.

Jim Vucinovich, an experienced trial lawyer, made his commitment to our firm in 2004, along with attorneys Bahareh Samanian and Phil Arnold, and his talented staff and field representatives.

Tom Flaskamp brought his energy and talent to our firm in 2005 along with his experienced staff and field representatives.
